MacroVIEW DM Workshops May 2017

Mobile Macro Digital Imaging for Post Mortem Investigations

MacroVIEW DM 1

Would you like to learn more about the very latest innovation for Macro Digital Imaging in the Mortuary?  If so, we would like to invite you to attend one of our workshops being held in Winnersh, Wokingham at the end of March 2017. At the workshop you will hear directly from one of our MacroVIEW DM customers and learn all about their experiences.  There will also be an opportunity for you to have some hands-on time with the instrument, enabling you to see for yourself how easy the system is to use.

We believe The MacroVIEW DM will dramatically enhance the standardisation and documentation of procedures in the mortuary.  It is possible to capture images of the whole body, individual body parts, and large organ systems. Adding visual or audio annotations to the images and recording videos helps to create a more descriptive record of the autopsy, necropsy or forensic case. It is also extremely useful for teaching and training purposes.

Macro digital images of the subject prove invaluable by:

  • Assisting the mortuary to meet more stringent requirements for quality and competence under ISO 15189.
  • Documenting the autopsy procedure for the pathologist and allowing images to be annotated either during the autopsy or from the convenience of the pathologists’ office.
  • Elimination of audio tape descriptions, traditional film and manual digital photography.
  • Providing high resolution images allowing visualisation of details that are difficult to see with the naked eye.
  • Reducing the risk of case mix-ups and manual work.
  • Evidencing cases for any future medico-legal issues.

Places are restricted on the forthcoming workshop, if you would like to book your place or for any further information on the TOTAL TISSUE DIAGNOSTICS™ solutions, please contact us on: 0118 944 4100 or at: This email address is being protected from spambots.
